The Trailer - Green Street

Situated daily in the heart of Vancouver B.C.’s financial district on W Hastings at Burrard this restaurant had the unique opportunity to design from the outside in. By using the city’s landscape as the theme of the design the exterior is clad with textures, colours and tones that blend seamlessly into it’s surroundings. Brushed aluminum and beautifully stained western red cedar honor the contemporary design style Vancouver has become world famous for.

Inside is no less impressive. A complete commercial kitchen suite sits along side a custom designed 420 litre fresh water tank providing more than ample water supply to really cook! With a full size oven Fresh Local Wild is able to produce it’s own baked goods as well.

Mobile power generation is never easy but it can be Green. Fresh Local Wild has accomplished an industry first by creating a power system that runs off 100% VEG oil. This means that when we have used the oil in the deep fryers to it’s capacity we can pour it straight into the tank and fuel our generator. That’s why we say ‘Powered by Fish N’ Chips”! An onboard intake and custom filtering system allow us to use oil from any fryer, anywhere!

The possibilities with this restaurant are as endless as the places it can go!
